Climate I’m going to talk about the geography and climate change. The four major parts of climate are the four seasons and those are Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. So for my first paragraph I will talk about the first season and that is Spring.
Spring is the first season. It is very wet and rainy. Sometimes it can be very windy. The rage for the weather is 65 degree F to 70 degrees. The spring months are March, April, and May. Also up on hiking trails the temperature and humidity rise. This season is the second most popular season for visitation and seasonal campgrounds begin to open in the spring. Next I will talk about spring. Summer is the second season. The most popular times are July and August because the weather tends to be mild warm. Rain is alway a possibility to hikers so they have to always be prepared for thunderstorms especially in the higher elevations. Fog can also occur on the coastal strip inhibit visibility. The weather is between 70 degree F to 80 degree F. Now I will be going to talk about Fall. Now I will talk about Fall. Snow can start to occur in the late September in the high country. Rain and wind will come in on the lower elevations. But the mountain elevations are experiencing freezing temperatures at that time. In other parts of the peninsula temperatures rarely drown to freezing except during the night. If visiting in autumn always remember to check current roads, campgrounds, and trail conditions. Next I will talk about Winter. Now I will talk about Winter. There is super high levels of precipitation in winter. The rainforest and the coast average get up to 100-140 inches of rain each year. Most of the precipitation happens to fall between the months November-April. Hurricane Ridge averages 30-35 feet of snow and is open to weekend skiing when weather permits.Flooding and severe storms can close roads and limit access to park areas. That’s what I have in the four seasons in the the Olympic Peninsula. On what the climate is and how it will change. Again those four seasons are Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Why this is the best place Our region is the best because of the rain forest, the Olympic national park, and in the Olympic peninsula there are salmon, and a lot of camping places camping places, and all of the sights to see there. Also there is a lot of hiking trails there you can go to the Ruby Beach, Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, or the second beach trail. There are a lot of family fun things at the Olympic peninsula . The animals in the Olympic peninsula are black bears, bobcat, Canadian lynx, cougar, coyote, elk, mountain goat, mule deer, gray wolf, red fox, raccoons, badgers, skunks, and rabbits etc. In the summer the weather is in the 80’s to 90’s. The Olympic Peninsula was a place where the native americans were. So that's why the lakes and the trails are named weird. There is also whale watching and if you ever go up I would go up there and go to the whale watching. There animals you can see on the way. There are 244 glaciers in the Olympic peninsula. There is a waterfall trail that you can walk. On and along the way you can see the waterfalls that the Indian's got their water from when they got their water.
